The Apprentice and Traineeship Company is an Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC). This means we have a contract with the Australian Government to provide support services to employers and apprentices. This includes providing quality advice, arranging all the paperwork to register an apprentice or trainee and then paying incentives to employers or apprentices on behalf of the government.
This service is FREE.
We are one of a number of Australian Apprenticeships Centres across Western Australia. This website does not represent the Australian Government. The key services offered by the Australian Apprenticeships Centre (AAC) includes:
- Providing information to employers, apprentices and trainees, parents and other parties about all aspects of Australian Apprenticeships. (ie: apprenticeships and traineeships)
- Promoting Australian Apprenticeships to local businesses.
- Administering Australian Government Incentive payments to employers and personal benefit entitlements to Australian Apprentices.
- Undertaking the signing up of new apprentices and trainees. We will visit the employer personally.
- Providing appropriate information about the structured on and off the job training and the choice of training provider.
- Making contact with employers and apprentices / trainees at the 6, 12, 24 month point (where applicable) to address any problems and issues to ensure successful completion.
